The Northland Fire Wire website is northeastern Minnesota’s rescue and fire journal and brings you news of local fire and emergency events, training, health & safety, apparatus, A.R.F.A. information, and want ads. The Northland Fire Wire began in September, 1989 when the first “Fire Wire” was printed and distributed throughout the Arrowhead Region. The Fire Wire publication ended in 2010, after some 22 years of serving the area. The website was launched several years before the publication ended. In addition, we have a Facebook page “Friends of the Northland FireWire. We encourage you to also check out both sites as you browse the internet.
