Virginia woman pleads guilty in arson fire

 

May 5 – A Virginia woman has pleaded guilty to an arson charge in connection with the April 4th fire which destroyed the Nelson-Collie Electric building in Virginia.  21 year old Tiffany Jenner entered the plea in state district court in Virginia.  According to court records, Jenner started a fire in a dumpster that was near the building. The early morning blaze was fought by crews from Virginia, Mt. Iron, Eveleth and Gilbert.  Damages were estimated in excess of $300,000.  One firefighter received a back injury. 

Jenner will be sentenced on June 2.
