Britt Home Destroyed

April 26, 2002 – An early morning fire destroyed a home in the Britt area, north of Virginia.  A passing motorist reported the blaze on the Peel Road around 1:15 a.m.  Arriving crews found the house totally engulfed in flames.  No one was home at the time.  The nearby Cook Fire Department was called in for assistance.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
