Mountain Iron Holds House Burn

June 26 – The Mountain Iron Fire Department, in cooperation with the Laurentian Emergency Training Center(LETC) in Virginia, conducted a House Burn Training Exercise in the Wolf area of Mountain Iron. Firefighters from Clinton Township, Fayal Township, Eveleth and Virginia also took part in the training. The house was located just off of St. Louis County Road 101.
