The Chisholm Fire Department has a new truck with multiple uses. The new truck can be used for fighting grass fires, responding to vehicle accidents and transporting personnel and equipment to and from the fire scene. Chisholm firefighters say the truck is a big improvement over the department’s former grass fire rig. The Ford F-350 features a 250 GPM pump and a 200 gallon water tank. A utility body, allowing the safe storage of equipment, is one of the biggest advantages of the truck. The rig was placed in service last spring.
