The year 2010 will mean some major changes for The Northland Fire Wire. According to Managing Editor Jan Makowski, the most significant change is that Fire Wire publication will be coming to an end this December.

A fire in the Raintree West Apartments in Mountain Iron caused extensive damage to one apartment and resulted in the evacuation of the entire building.

Sprinkler System Contains Virginia Apartment Building Fire
The sprinkler system in the Third Avenue Hotel apartment building, 201 3rd Avenue North, in Virginia is being credited with containing a fire which broke out in the heavily populated building.
St. Louis County Communications Department Recommends Transition to ARMER
